Zesty Beef Stroganoff

1 to 1¼ lbs. sirloin steak, cut into 1/8” strips
¼ cup margarine
8oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
½ cup onion, sliced
1 garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup water
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. dry red wine
2 tsp. beef flavored instant bouillon
¼ tsp. white pepper
1 8oz. container sour cream, at room temp.
Egg Noodles, cooked as directed on pkg.

In large skillet, over medium-heat heat, brown sirloin in margarine; remove
from pan.

In the same skillet, cook and stir mushrooms, onion and garlic until tender;
stir in flour. Add water, lemon juice, wine, bouillon and pepper; cook and
stir until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream then meat; heat
through. Do not boil.

Serve on noodles. Refrigerate leftovers.

Makes 4 servings
