¼ cup Heinz® 57 Sauce
¼ cup apple jelly
¼ cup apple juice
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Dash allspice
1 lb. boneless pork loin
¼ cup flour
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp. oil
2 large Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, peeled, quartered, sliced ½” thick
2 tbsp. margarine
In small bowl, combine 57 Sauce, jelly, apple juice, cornstarch, cinnamon and
allspice; set aside. Cut pork into 4 slices; flatten each slice to ¼” thickness.
In small bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Dust pork lightly with flour
mixture. In large skillet, sauté pork in oil until cooked, about 3 minutes
on each side; remove and keep warm. In small skillet sauté apples in
margarine 2 to 3 minutes; remove. Pour 57 Sauce mixture into skillet;
heat, stirring constantly, until jelly is melted and sauce is thicken.
Return apples to skillet; heat through. Spoon apples and sauce over pork.
