1 lb. sirloin steak or pork butt, cooked and shredded or chopped
1 pkg Lawry’s® Taco Spices & Seasonings
¾ cup water
1 15oz. can pinto beans, drained
½ cup sliced green onions
½ cup chopped tomato
10 taco shells
Shredded lettuce
Avocado chunks
2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
In large skillet, combine meat, Spices and Seasonings and water. Bring to a
boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 7 minutes. Stir in beans, green
onions and tomato.
Heat taco shells in 350° oven 5 minutes. Spoon warm meat mixture into shells.
Top with lettuce, avocado and cheese. Serve with a mixture of sour cream
and salsa.
Makes 10 tacos
