Heath Blond Brickle Brownies

1-1/3 cups flour
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
2 eggs
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. almond extract
1 6oz. pkg. Heath® Bits ‘O Brickle, divided
½ cup chopped pecans, optional

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Beat eggs well. Gradually add both sugars; beat until thick and creamy. Add melted margarine, vanilla and almond extract. Gently stir in flour mixture until moistened.

Fold in 2/3 cup of Heath® Bits and pecans. Pour into greased 8” square
pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately
sprinkle remaining Heath® Bits over top. Cool completely in pan on wire
rack before cutting.

Makes 16 generous bars
