2 cups milk
2 cups Deans® whipping cream
2 eggs, beaten
1¼ cups sugar
2 extra ripe bananas
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
In lager saucepan, combine milk, cream, eggs and sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and coats metal spoon. Remove from heat, cool to room temp.
Puree bananas in blender to make 1 cup. In large bowl, combine cooled custard, pureed bananas, vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Pour into ice cream freezer can. Freeze according to manufacturers’ directions.
Makes 2 quarts
