6 squares Bakers® semisweet chocolate
¾ cup margarine
1½ cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1½ cups water
Microwave chocolate and margarine in a large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until margarine is melted. Stir until chocolate is melted. Stir sugar into melted chocolate, until well blended. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until completely mixed. Add vanilla. Add ½ cup of flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Beat in remaining 2 cups of flour alternately with
water until smooth.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 9” layer pans. Bake at 350³ for 35 minutes
or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
Fill and Frost as desired.
