20 whole graham crackers
2 cups cold milk
1 pkg (6-serving) JellO® Vanilla or Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding Pie & Filling
1 3/4 cups frozen Cool Whip® whipped topping, thawed
2 cans (21oz each) Solo® or Comestack® cherry pie filling
Line a 13 x 9 glass baking pan with some of the graham crackers, breaking
crackers, if necessary. Pour milk into bowl, add pudding mix and beat
until well blend, 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes, and then blend
in Cool Whip.
Spread half of pudding mixture over crackers. Add another layer of crackers.
Top with remaining pudding mixture and remaining crackers. Spread cherry
pie filling over crackers. Chill about 3 hours.
Makes 12 servings
CHOCOLATE-FROSTED ICE BOX CAKE:
Prepare the recipe as directed, substituting 3/4 cup ready to spread chocolate fudge frosting for the cherry pie filling. Carefully spread frosting over top layer of graham crackers.
