Thousand Island Dressing

2/3 cup evaporated skimmed milk
2/3 cup bottled chili sauce
2/3 cup vegetable or olive oil
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp lemon
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Combine all ingredients with a whisk. Refrigerate until well chilled.

Serve over tossed green salad.

Makes 2 cups
