Red Cabbage ‘n’ Apples

¼ cup margarine
1/3 cup lemon juice
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup water
½ tsp. caraway seeds
½ tsp. salt
4 cups shredded red cabbage
2 medium all- purpose apples, cored and coarsely chopped

In large saucepan, smelt margarine; stir in juice, sugar, water, caraway and
salt. Add cabbage and apples; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and
simmer 25 to 30 minutes.

Makes 6 to 8 servings
