Peanut Layer Brownies

Brownie Layer:
4 squares Baker’s® Unsweetened Chocolate
¾ cup margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped peanuts

Peanut Butter Layer:
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Glaze:
4 squares Baker’s® Semisweet Chocolate
¼ cup margarine

Microwave chocolate and ¾ cup margarine at HIGH 2 minutes or until margarine is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir sugar into melted chocolate mixture. Mix in eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour and peanuts. Spread in greased 13 x9 glass baking pan.

Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do not overbake. Cool in pan.

Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla in separate bowl until blended and smooth. Spread over brownies.

To make Glaze: Microwave semisweet chocolate and ¼ cup margarine in small
microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until margarine is melted. Stir
until chocolate is completely melted. Spread over peanut butter layer.
Cool until set. Cut into squares.

Makes about 24 brownies
